We had some PRs against some incredible athletes |
Hot day - almost all marks were off the athletes' PR's. In spite of the warm day - all four of our JJ Pearce athletes competed well and all advanced to Regionals |
"Overall, everyone performed as expected and we had several athletes who ran/set personal records (PR), season's best (SB), and had two school records broken: 4x100m relay (Lindy Miller, Jada Propes, Jordan Otto, and Hannah Harden-49.88) and High Jump (Jordan Otto). As of now, we have 5 athletes who are moving on to the area meet next Friday, April 24 at Hanby Stadium. They are: |

"I thought that we performed and competed very well considering the weather and injuries. Everyone who participated improved their time from last week and others did a great job running in place of our injured athletes. We have a long season ahead of us and we are pretty much where I thought that we would be this early in the season. We are right on track. Thank you for all of your support!" |
